ADA-Accessibility Surveys

ADA-Accessibility Surveys and Transition Plan Service

Cordoba Corp’s team of accessibility experts conducts accessibility surveys and develops comprehensive compliance/Transition Plans for both Title II (Public) and Title III (Private) entities. Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires public accommodations to provide goods and services to people with disabilities on an equal basis with the rest of the general public. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has published guidance on standards for both Title II entities (public – considered local and state government or agencies) and for Title III entities (privately owned – available as a place of public accommodation, commerce, or test-taking).

Our team provides CASp (Certified Access Specialist) inspections of both public and private facilities, creating both interior (building) and exterior (path of travel) survey reports. Cordoba employs its team of SITE SURVEY experts to provide clients with automated site assessments of the required path of travel using the latest technology to focus on four areas of liability:

  • Tripping Hazards
  • Curb Ramps
  • Cross Slopes
  • Critical Features
  • Additional information as requested by client

The information is imported into a GIS database and can be provided to the client in a variety of electronic formats to generate a complete layer of geo-referenced data for your facilities management and planning needs.

We assist our clients with taking a proactive, targeted, and sensible approach to creating turn-key ADA Transition Plan solutions which meet or exceed Federal and State requirements.
