Development of Plans, Specifications and Estimates:

Cordoba brings a proven track record in delivery of Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) under tight schedules. The Cordoba Team has delivered many successful PS&E packages to bid advertisement. Our design teams believe in proactive communication and consistent dedication to our client's expectations. On time and on budget delivery of a PS&E package, including a complete set of specifications and an engineer's estimate, and a successful Bid Package is our main objective. Cordoba's constructability checks during design by a team of professionals who know what to look for and where mistakes are most often made increases the probability of accurate engineer cost estimates.

Roadway/Geometrics Design:

Cordoba's team of designers bring a proven track record in roadway/street design and geometrics. Cordoba team members have led several roadway/geometric design efforts for major infrastructure projects including the Metro Gold Line East Side LRT Extension, Mid-City Exposition LRT, and the San Fernando Valley BRT, CenterLine and Bristol Street Preliminary Engineering, and major roadway improvements at the San Bernardino International Airport. Services include horizontal and vertical alignments, demolition plans, traffic plans, utilities, intersection design, accessibility requirements, proper drainage collection, construction details, and typical section design.

Project Study Reports (PSR):

Cordoba's design team closely works with our transportation planners in the development of PSR's. Our engineers and planners have vast experience in the production of many PSR's, including scope identification, alternatives analysis, project development estimates, and final PSR preparation. PSR development includes preliminary cost estimates, preparation of layout plans including all alternatives, traffic analysis, environmental impacts and right-of-way impacts.

Parking Facilities:

Cordoba members collectively bring design experience in various types of Parking Facilities including Park-n-Rides, commercial/public lots, or paid private parking facilities. Regardless of use, an efficient parking facility requires close attention to i.) grading, ii.) layout, iii.) ADA requirements, iv.) traffic circulation, v.) drainage requirements, and vi.) landscaping/urban design. Members of our team have experience in sizing and implementing such systems and obtaining construction approval from city staff and are well equipped to provide the necessary resources.

Drainage:

Cordoba has provided drainage design services on various projects and has expertise in maintaining existing drainage flow patterns to minimize construction costs of facilities. Drainage design services include Hydrology/Hydraulics analysis and report, stormwater design (such as culverts, catch basins, open channel, etc), preparation of drainage plans/profiles, and processing permits with regulatory agencies. Cordoba professionals have successfully completed drainage design as part of on-call storm damage projects for Caltrans and other local entities.
