Sandra Cuevas, P.E., has significant well-rounded Civil Design experience in geometric alignment design, street widening, roadway reconstruction, intersection design, construction cost estimating, and construction support/assistance. She has worked on several large infrastructure programs throughout Southern California requiring construction support on Design/Build and Design/Bid/Build delivery methods. Along with her design experience, Ms. Cuevas is well versed in transit program development. Her experience encompasses program implementation, local initiative oversight, and design reviews. Currently she is overseeing local initiatives under development including the GO Local program where cities in Orange County are developing their own transit vision, and the Anaheim Regional Transportation Inter-modal Center (ARTIC). Sandra's passion for transit programs and civil engineering is also evident in extra curricular activities. As a part of the ACE Mentor program, Sandra helps mentor 20 Santa Ana High School students in architecture, construction, and engineering. The students include sophomores through seniors and are generally first generation potential college students. Aside from mentoring them in the three specific disciplines, she also provides college guidance, field trips to professional offices, and support at student competitions.
