Water Resources, Project Engineer

Mr. Lovo has an extensive knowledge of principles, practices and technology of the development, construction and treatment of water production, water distribution, sewer and recycled water systems ranging in costs from $500K to $80M. He has accumulated eleven years of international experience (Quebec, Hawaii, New Zealand, USA) seven of those gained locally in California and has participated in all activities of the life development cycle of civil engineering projects.

Mr. Lovo has developed and exercised his skills in several small to large-scale projects using state-of-the-art notation and Computer-Aided Civil Engineering (CACE) tools. He has assumed management, administrative, and technical responsibilities for assigned services and activities; provided QA/QC for in-house and external projects; prepared proposals and project financial analysis; managed and participated in the development and implementation of objectives, policies, and priorities; coordinated with public work departments, local agencies, department of health, and EPA the review, permitting, and implementation of the projects; recommended modifications to policies, procedures, and standards related to water programs; and served as the liaison for the water project with the other departments, divisions or outside agencies.
