LOS ANGELES BUREAU OF SANITATION (LASAN) BALLONA CREEK WATERSHED PROJECT

Cordoba Corporation is providing strategic support and assisting LASAN in developing a sound strategy for meeting total maximum daily load (TMDL) requirements set by the Regional Water Quality Control Board for Ballona Creek and its tributaries. We were asked to perform a value engineering analysis for a number of potential water quality improvement options and provide recommendations to the senior LASAN officials of the viability and technical feasibility of the options. The Cordoba Team was asked to balance the issues of compliance, environmental stewardship, water conservation, water reuse and fiscal responsibility for LASAN and the City of Los Angeles. The successful completion of this analysis helped LASAN determine the most viable options, and Cordoba will continue to work with LASAN as they conduct the environmental review process.
