Cordoba Corporation proudly joined Long Beach City College (LBCC) to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of Building MM, a modernized instructional facility that marks a significant step forward in the college’s ongoing campus transformation.
Building MM, located on LBCC’s Pacific Coast Campus, has undergone a comprehensive renovation to create a more innovative, flexible, and student‑centered learning environment. The upgraded facility now features state‑of‑the‑art classrooms, enhanced technology infrastructure, improved accessibility, and sustainable design elements that support LBCC’s long‑term educational and environmental goals.
Cordoba Corporation served as a key partner in the delivery of Building MM, providing program and construction management services to ensure the project was completed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with LBCC’s vision.
“Building MM represents more than a renovation — it’s an investment in the future of LBCC students,” said Michael Boomsma, Executive Vice President of Facilities at Cordoba Corporation. “We are honored to support LBCCD in delivering modern, high‑quality facilities that empower learning and strengthen the community.”
The completion of Building MM is part of LBCCD’s ongoing capital improvement program, funded by voter‑approved bond measures that continue to modernize and expand the college’s campuses. The project reflects LBCCD’s dedication to providing students with safe, innovative, and inspiring spaces to learn and succeed.
