Overview
Cordoba Corporation has supported Inglewood Unified School District through a series of significant capital improvement and modernization initiatives, providing construction management expertise across some of the District’s most high‑profile and trans-formative projects. This work spans major campus redevelopments, new school construction, historic facility renovations, and district-wide infrastructure upgrades, all delivered with a focus on safety, schedule integrity, and educational impact.
Cordoba’s Role
Since 2016, Cordoba Corporation has been the Facilities Improvements Program and Construction Manager for Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) for projects funded by the District’s Measure GG and Measure I, Deferred Maintenance Program, Prop 39, State Emergency Repair Program, Los Angeles World Airports Sound Mitigation Program, and various grants provided by local industry partners.
Cordoba is a partner with IUSD to support the entire program by combining program and construction management services. Initially contracted to provide CM services, our professionals have become involved in every aspect of the bond program, including helping the District develop procedures for the bond program. Cordoba worked with the District’s Board of Education and Business Services Department and oversaw the development of a priority project list, master schedule, master budget and spending forecasts, facilities design standards, educational specifications, and facilities needs assessment. We also assisted the District in reestablishing the Bond Citizen’s Oversight Committee.
The team also worked with District stakeholders and helped develop a 10-year District Technology Master Plan as well as technology standards. The plan included an E-rate RFP WAN build, E-rate all site LAN upgrade design, and installation. Infrastructure assessments were also completed resulting in design models for the upgrading of cable plants for the entire district.
