The Bureau of Engineering\u2019s goal is to support Los Angeles to be the world\u2019s most livable and resilient city. The agency is responsible for a myriad of City projects that are integral to this vision, including planning, design and construction management of public buildings and street and transit projects, and stormwater and wastewater systems\u2011\u2011the foundations of an effective and efficient city. For many of these projects, BOE uses a bench of consultants to provide civil engineering services, including engineering design, developing plans and specifications and estimates, project study reports, scheduling, and constructability studies, to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cordoba Corporation provides on\u2011call civil engineering and project delivery support through a bench contract with the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, delivering services across street and transit programs using the BOE task order process. As part of the City\u2019s $10 million Sidewalk Repair Program \u2013 Access Request Acceleration Project, Cordoba manages and designs multiple segments aimed at improving accessible routes throughout Los Angeles. This work includes site investigations, scoping, preparation of construction plans and quantities, and coordination with the Bureau of Street Services Urban Forestry Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
