The Berkeley Center for Cities and Schools recently published a new report – Adequate & Equitable U.S. PK-12 Infrastructure. This report identifies 55 priority actions to address the systemic problems of delivering adequate and equitable public school facilities. Members of the CA Proposition 39 (Clean Energy & Jobs Act) Citizens Oversight Board (COB), which Cordoba\u2019s Chief Operating Officer, Randall Martinez, was appointed to in 2015, served as advisors to the Berkeley Center in developing this report. These individuals provided input and important lessons learned from their participation with Prop 39 COB. Their insight for this report provides a grounded context and a national perspective on the impact of good facilities and planning. It also underscores the value of Prop 39 and the contributions of the COB members.<\/p>\n
