\"MariaCordoba Corporation\u2019s Managing Partner Maria Mehranian<\/strong> <\/a>will host Armenia Fund<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s 22nd Annual International Thanksgiving Day Telethon in Los Angeles. The telethon will take place on November 28, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. PST. It will be broadcasted live from Yerevan from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST, and then the Armenia Fund will lead the program from Los Angeles from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PST through a virtual bridge with Yerevan.<\/p>\n

The theme of this year\u2019s telethon is \u201cTo My Beloved Armenia \u2013 Life-giving Water and Sun for Communities.\u201d<\/strong> Proceeds from the pan-national event will benefit the installation of solar-power systems in towns and villages in Armenia and Artsakh, and the construction of drinking water and irrigation networks in both republics.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am pleased to once again be a part of the Armenia Fund Telethon 2019,\u201d said Armenia Fund President Maria Mehranian<\/strong>, who has hosted the annual telethon for the past several years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the implementation of our flagship programs this year, vitally-important irrigation water and cutting-edge technologies to harness the power of the sun will become available to farmers throughout the Homeland,\u201d continued Ms. Mehranian<\/strong>. \u201cThis will greatly improve the quality of life of rural communities, especially in border regions. I look forward to inspiring people to support our cause and help build sustainability in Artsakh and Armenia.\u201d<\/p>\n
