Cordoba is proud to support Irvine Valley College (IVC) and the South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD) as they advance the largest construction project in the college’s history. This transformative development introduces more than 77,000 square feet of new facilities along with a newly designed campus Quad that will elevate student life, expand essential services, and create a central gathering space for the entire community.

The project includes two major new buildings: a 47,803‑square‑foot Student Services Building and a 30,300‑square‑foot Student Union Building. Together, these facilities will streamline student support functions, enhance campus engagement, and provide modern, flexible spaces that reflect the evolving needs of IVC’s growing student population.

At the heart of the expansion is a reimagined Campus Quad capable of hosting more than 3,000 people. This signature outdoor venue will become the new home for commencement ceremonies, cultural celebrations, and large‑scale campus events, creating a vibrant focal point for both students and the broader community.

Cordoba Corporation is providing comprehensive Construction Management (CM) services for the project, overseeing coordination, quality assurance, and project delivery on behalf of SOCCCD. The firm’s leadership ensures that the new facilities meet the District’s standards for excellence, safety, and long‑term performance.

This expansion marks the largest construction project ever undertaken by both Irvine Valley College and the South Orange County Community College District. Its scale and significance underscore the District’s commitment to modernizing its campuses and investing in infrastructure that supports academic achievement and long‑term student success.
