The District’s Department of Technology (DoT) and the District’s Facilities Bond Program are working to upgrade the District’s IT capabilities as part of the overall building modernization and new construction supporting the District’s efforts to transform itself into a digital district and to realize Vision 2025 to prepare every student for success in the 21st century. | |
Cordoba’s Role | |
Working collaboratively Cordoba’s IT and construction management professionals support the SFUSD DoT bond team in systemwide planning, assessment of the existing DoT systems, support and evaluation of current technology enhancement concepts, advancement of alternate concepts, and development of IT standards and master plans for both short term and long-term technology goals. Cordoba professionals design and manage the construction of technology updates, reporting directly to the San Francisco Unified School District’s Department of Technology (DoT). We support the complete design, QA/QC, RFI, ASI, CCO, etc. for all technology components of the bond modernization projects. Additionally, we interface with contractors to ensure that the designs are procured and implemented to DoT standards, and update and manage District Technology Standards. Our team members conduct site inspections and serve as Construction Managers and Technology Inspectors of Record. | |
